1. Who we are

The marketprice terminal at marketprice.org is operated by qourat, which also runs qourat.com. Write to support@qourat.com with any question about these terms.

These terms cover the terminal, the static pages beside it and the data API under /api that the terminal reads. The same rules, in shorter form, are on qourat.com/terms.

2. The terminal is free, personal and non-commercial

There is no subscription and no charge, no advertising and no tracker. You may use the terminal for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

The data feeds behind the terminal are held on personal and internal use plans. That is why the terminal is personal use only: we are not licensed to hand the underlying data on to anyone else, and neither are you. Do not resell, redistribute or republish the data or figures derived from it.

If a paid or commercial tier ever exists, it will be described here first and it will not take away anything you already have.

3. Accounts

Accounts are open, free and optional: the terminal works in full without one. An account lets the layouts (every open tab with its panels) and watchlists you save follow you to another browser. The feedback form works with or without one.

These rules apply to every account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks them, and we will say why where the law and safety allow. You can close your account at any time with the delete button on the ACCOUNT panel; what it held is then deleted as the privacy page says.

• You must be 16 or older to open an account. The sign-up form asks you to confirm it.
• One account per person. Accounts are for people, not for bots or shared logins.
• Use a real email address you control; we send one message to confirm it.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Do not use an account to scrape, to get around a rate limit, or to attack the service.

4. No warranty

The terminal is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be available, correct, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, qourat is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the terminal or from anything you did or did not do because of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Data may be delayed or wrong

Almost everything on the terminal is delayed. Some feeds are one venue rather than the whole market. Some are published once a day, once a week or once a month. Some are revised after the fact without notice.

Feeds break. When a feed stops answering, the terminal shows the last good data and says so in the panel footer, and the age beside it is the age of that data, not of your screen. Always read the footer before you read the number.

The STATUS page inside the terminal shows every feed, when it last answered and what it last said when it failed.

6. No reliance, and no financial advice

Nothing on the terminal is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on it is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. Forecasts shown by the terminal, including every sam forecast, are statistical estimates and are wrong often; the scoreboard shows how often.

Do not make a trading or investment decision on the basis of this site. Check every figure against the primary source and take your own professional advice. The full text is on the disclaimer page.

7. Fair use of the API

The terminal reads its data from the API under /api on this domain. It exists to serve the terminal to a person sitting in front of it; it is not a public data product and it comes with no promise that its shape will stay the same.

You may call it by hand to look at a response. You may not scrape it in bulk, mirror it, run it through a crawler or a bot, feed it into another product, or send automated traffic beyond what one person using the terminal would generate. We may rate limit or block traffic that does, with or without an account.

• No bulk downloading, mirroring or systematic harvesting.
• No reselling, redistributing or republishing the data or anything derived from it.
• No attempt to get around a rate limit, a block, a sign-up check or any other technical measure.
• No use that interferes with the service for anyone else.

8. What we ask of you

• Use the terminal lawfully, and not to break anyone else’s rights.
• Do not try to break into, disrupt or probe the service or the server behind it.
• Do not present the data as your own, and do not strip the attributions on the disclaimer page from anything you copy.

9. Your saved data

Without an account, layouts, watchlists, the portfolio and alerts are saved in your own browser, not on our server. Clearing your browser storage deletes them and we cannot get them back for you. Use the export in the layouts dialog and in the portfolio if you want a copy.

With an account, what you choose to save to it (SAVE <name> keeps every open tab; watchlists are copied when you ask) is kept on our server until you delete it or close the account. The ACCOUNT panel exports everything it holds as one JSON file. The privacy page says exactly what is stored and for how long.

10. Third party data and links

The terminal shows data from the providers listed on the disclaimer page. Their own terms apply to their data and some of them carry required wording, which is reproduced there.

Links to other sites, and the television channels the TV function plays, are for convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what is on them.

11. Changes, and ending your use

We can change or withdraw any part of the terminal at any time, including these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version. A change that adds duties for account holders is published here before it takes effect.

You can stop using the terminal at any time. Clearing your browser storage removes everything it kept for you in the browser; closing your account removes what it kept on our server.

12. Law, and how to reach us

These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting any right you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
